Ostara have been working with Whitbread, and the Premier Inn brand, since 2016. Premier Inn is the UK’s biggest hotel brand offering over 700 hotels and 59,000 rooms. Whitbread have now launched the use of the Ostara System in their expanding portfolio of German Premier Inn hotels.
In the UK, Whitbread’s use of the software includes the management of their entire FM process, as well as asset management (incorporating asset performance and replacement programs), contractor management and legislative compliance monitoring and reporting.
Whitbread were also the first Ostara client to implement their proprietary Bluetooth check-in methodology and hardware, and did so to great effect, installing a beacon in each of their sites, and in doing so improved their contractor management and cost saving ability. This technology has also been successfully deployed in the German Hotel locations.
The success of this UK partnership has prompted the roll out of the CAFM software in Germany, as the Ostara System is fully translated into the German language, and also includes the flexibility to manage a different operational model specifically for the German sites, including German time zones, tax codes and currencies, separately to the established UK model.
The Ostara team looks forward to continuing to work with, and support, Whitbread in their expansion in Germany.
